A wall-mounted split system is the quickest and most cost-effective way to bring air conditioning into an existing home. There’s no building work and very little disruption. Most single rooms are done in a day.
A slim indoor unit sits high on the wall and connects through a small core hole to a quiet outdoor unit. We route and trunk the pipework neatly, so the finished job looks as tidy as the room it’s in.

Common questions
How long does installation take?
A single-room wall-mounted system is usually installed and commissioned in a day. Multi-room systems typically take one to three days, depending on the number of rooms and the pipe routes.
Will it make a mess?
There’s a single small core hole through the wall for the pipework. We use dust sheets, tidy as we go, and finish pipework in neat trunking.
Can it heat my home too?
Yes. Modern air conditioners are air-to-air heat pumps and are a very efficient way to heat a room, especially in spring and autumn.
Do I need planning permission?
Most domestic installations fall under permitted development, but there are conditions, for example on listed buildings, conservation areas and outdoor unit positions. We’ll check this during the survey.
Does it need servicing?
We recommend an annual service to keep it efficient and quiet and to protect the manufacturer’s warranty. We offer simple maintenance plans.
